Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RadioHaven (伴聲, "the app") handles your information. RadioHaven is developed and operated by Holy Catalpa Limited ("we", "us").

1. Information we do not collect

You do not need an account to listen to radio in RadioHaven. The app does not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and it does not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools.

2. Information stored only on your phone

The following is stored only on your phone. We do not receive it:

• your settings, such as the stations on the home screen and their order, the interface mode, dark mode, what happens when the app opens, and the sleep timer length;
• the names and addresses of any internet radio stations you add, and the station you last listened to;
• ad-related records, such as total time in the app, remaining ad-free time, and whether ads have been removed;
• a random identifier generated by the app (see section 3).

If Android backup is turned on, Google may back up this information to your Google Account so it can be restored on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under its own policies, and we cannot read it.

3. Redemption codes

When you enter a redemption code, the app sends the following to our server to verify the code and prevent it from being used more than once:

• the code you entered;
• a random identifier generated by the app on your phone (it does not contain your name, phone number or any hardware identifier);
• your Google Account identifier. You sign in with Google to redeem a code. We keep only this identifier, to record that the account has redeemed a code so it can be restored on a new phone. The name and email address Google provides at sign-in are not stored, and we never receive your Google password.

We keep redemption records (the code, the identifiers above and the time of redemption) until you ask us to delete them.

To stop repeated guessing of codes, our server temporarily uses your IP address to count attempts. This is held only while the server is running and is not stored with redemption records. Our hosting provider may also keep standard connection logs.

4. Radio streams

When you listen to a station, your phone connects directly to that broadcaster's streaming server. As with any internet connection, the broadcaster's server receives connection information such as your IP address and handles it under the broadcaster's own privacy policy. We do not rebroadcast, record or relay station content through our servers.

5. Advertising

The app shows ads, including Trip.com affiliate ads and ads for our own brands.

• Trip.com ad content is provided by Trip.com's servers and loaded inside the app. Trip.com may receive connection information and use cookies when it loads, under Trip.com's privacy policy.
• Ads for our own brands are images inside the app and send no information when shown.
• Tapping an ad opens the related website in your phone's browser, where that website's privacy policy applies.

The app does not use the Android advertising ID.

6. Notifications

The app asks for permission to show notifications, used only for playback controls in the notification bar and on the lock screen.

7. Children

The app is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Access and deletion

You can clear the app's data at any time under Settings → Apps → 伴聲 on your phone, or uninstall the app, to delete what is stored on that phone. If Android backup was turned on, the backup in your Google Account is not deleted this way and may be restored if you reinstall; you can manage it in your phone's Google backup settings.

To ask us to delete redemption records linked to your Google Account, email support@radiohaven.app. We will delete the records after verifying the account. After deletion, that account can no longer restore the redemption.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
